The Challenge

For a long time, public broadcasting organisation Omroep Gelderland sported an illustrated fox in it’s logo. After almost 15 years however, the visual identity was outdated and needed refreshment. I was asked to design this rebranding, and apply it to a broad range of communication means, from motion graphics on television to corporate letterhead.

The Solution

Together with motion design agency Holland Centraal, we first developed a visually simple and recognizable logo. Based on a map marker, it refers to the omnipresence of the broadcaster on television, radio and the web. Omroep Gelderland is literally all over the map; with news reports as well as tv- and radioshows giving viewers and listeners a sense of what their province is about.
